Nature-based training courses have an impact!
SILVIVA offers a variety of training courses for ongoing professional development and in-service teacher training as well as coaching and supervision to develop and professionalise teaching and learning outside the classroom.
The Certificat of Advanced Studies in Nature-Based Environmental Education is offered in partnership with the Zürich University of Applied Sciences and HEPIA at the University of Applied Sciences of Geneva HES-SO. It is a modular training course with the possibility of taking courses in either German or French (see links below).
SILVIVA offers a SVEB Trainer Certificate in adult education specifically for environmental and sustainability professionals. This course ables participants to teach environmental topics and aspects of sustainable development in an action- and impact-orientated way: outdoors, indoors or online. Prospective learners have the choice between German and French certificates (see links below).
SILVIVA also offers a range of courses for teachers at teacher training colleges and further education institutions that let teachers and trainee teachers experience teaching outside the classroom directly. For schools, we offer customised in-service training courses with a variety of focal points. Customised courses can be run in English on request.
We provide schools with long-term support on their way to becoming an outdoor teaching school: with individual support in their process, coaching and further training.
